Director, Product Management, Apparel (Global TNF) What You Will Do In this role you will lead the product creation efforts for a category from line planning to commercialization of styles. You understand the global marketplace, the consumer and competition, and possess digital proficiency in tools, process and mindset. You think creatively, recognize new business opportunities and communicate your plans for the future to motivate and inspire teammates. You will work closely with merchandising, design, and development teams as you create industry leading products to support athletes both on and off the mountain. While leading a group of forward-thinking product managers you will upskill talent with product discipline including line planning, franchise management, and 3-year planning expertise. You will ensure teams are clear on objectives and collaborate to ensure success. You will provide coaching and help others to achieve their best while motivating others to higher levels of achievement. You will influence others through persuasion, deliver relevant information with confidence, and built a strong network of relationships to deliver results. Your direction will push the brand forward with product management excellence while honoring and leveraging our DNA of Style, Performance and Sustainability both for performance and performance inspired products. How You Will Make a Difference:

  • Apply in-depth knowledge of consumer, marketplace, product and competitor insights to provide long term vision and framework to seasonal line plans.
  • Responsible for cross-functional teams working together to deliver product against the line plan, brief, product positioning and product excellence.
  • Participate in business planning, targeting, and seasonal financial planning to ensure the product line will satisfy or exceed the company financial goals.
  • Oversee the creation of seasonal briefs ensuring FOB target setting, margin, price points, and style choice reflects a global opportunity reflective of the brand.
  • Ensure clarity of written line plans and actionable briefs reflect marketplace opportunities balanced with brand right business decisions.
  • Represent team at key product creation meetings driving to accurate brief execution and ensuring the product serves the Brand Roadmap
  • Driving key initiatives to support the franchise management, amplify key innovations and 3-year planning.
  • Manage short, mid and long-term projects while providing regular updates to key stakeholders.
  • Ensure you and your team remain current with competitor product offerings, the global marketplace and consumer trends.
  • Hold teams accountable to the overall accuracy and timeliness of the data management system, tool creation for merchandising partners as well as product knowledge transfer.
  • Work in close partnership with Senior Director Product Management, Design Director, Merchandising Director, Development Director and key stakeholders in EMEA, APAC and America’s regional offices.
  • Provide strategic direction, leadership, mentorship and inspiration to a diverse team of product managers to deliver industry leading solutions.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement promoting professional growth and development of the team.
  • Develops management and leadership capabilities in team members.
  • Champions a work environment that supports teamwork, inclusion, and respect.
What You Will Bring:
  • A relevant Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent relevant experience
  • 10+ years of experience in apparel as a business leader with major business driving functions including product management, merchandising, or product development.
  • 6+ years proven management experience leading a team in line planning architecture from concept/ design through sell-in while adhering to strict timelines in adherence to the product calendar.
  • Deep performance, active and/ or outdoor industry knowledge, being able to act as a market expert for the business.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of financial metrics and profitability analysis.
  • Fluent in English, any other language is a plus.
  • You have a strong instinct and passion for product, blending art and science with a consumer centric approach to decision making.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, including a proven ability to communicate with various levels of management and employees within the organization.
  • You must be able to lead and influence others and be comfortable presenting in front of large groups of people.
  • Strong ability to inspire and build a mindset and culture of innovation within your team and beyond.
  • Strong product acumen with working knowledge of apparel product development processes, including design, development, sourcing and manufacturing.
  • Superior project planning with an ability to develop and manage multiple timelines and deadlines.
  • Proactive approach to identifying the root cause of issues, seeking the best solutions with a values driven commitment to do what is right.
  • High degree of agility and adaptability.

Pay Range: $146,880.00 USD - $220,320.00 USD annually Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process. Long_Term_Incentive: This position is eligible to be nominated annually to participate in a Long-Term Incentive Plan.
