Opportunity (Or Job Summary):
Seeking a talented and dynamic developer to join our team under the direction of the Applications Development Manager. The Application Developer will work cohesively with all departments in providing team members and clients with high-quality and effective technology solutions and support that contribute to the success and growth of the organization. This position will focus on RPGLE programs, HTML5 Conversions, and API integrations with the core banking system to leverage new opportunities and technologies to ensure a smooth transition, improve efficiencies & performance, and provide continued enhancements. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the fast-paced banking industry, to play a vital role in managing and developing the company's systems and applications, in addition to being part of a team that values innovation, creativity, and collaboration. Work will directly impact the efficiency and productivity of operations, therefore, the role requires a high level of technical expertise, problem solving skills, and a passion for technology.

Minimum Qualifications and Education Required:
* Associate degree in computer science or related field, or 3+ years experience developing applications in a team environment
* Ability to write code in one or more of the following computer languages: RPGLE, JavaScript, PHP, HTML/HTML5
* Knowledge and experience in writing programs in RPGLE and Command Language preferred
* Knowledge of HTML/DHTML, client/server side scripting, and MS-SQL/My SQL/Oracle database development preferred
* Experience as a data analyst, with a strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices following all aspects of a software development life cycle (SDLC)
* Ability to solve problems and support a variety of abstract and concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
* Ability to meet deadlines, handles confidential data, and deal with frequent interruptions
* Possess strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms; especially in documentation and reporting
* Possess strong problem-solving skills, pays attention to detail, and has the ability to think critically
* Ability to manage stress & work with minimal supervision
* Must successfully pass background investigation according to company policy
* Must be able to work effectively independently and in a team environment
