Medical Office Operations Leader

  This person will support the development, implementation, and management of centrifugal compressors to provide Ingersoll Rand with optimal supply assurance, pricing, flexibility, quality, and delivery performance. The Sourcing Manager builds and leverages strong working relationships with our engineering, operations and product management teams and key suppliers to ensure cost, quality, and delivery targets are met. This leader will also help to develop and deploy a sourcing strategy to support the growing centrifugal aftermarket business.
Lead a team of several sourcing engineers and sourcing specialists to achieve productivity, net working capital and supplier performance goals
Responsible for delivering productivity through price negotiations and other continuous improvement projects
Support supplier segmentation, Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and quarterly supplier reviews for all strategic suppliers
Work with suppliers to address significant and/or systemic issues with performance (quality, delivery, warranty, etc.) as may be required in support of plant manufacturing, purchasing and quality teams
Responsible for coordinating with global commodity teams, materials, operations, engineering, product management, finance, quality, and field operations to complete projects and achieve expected benefits within project timeline
Active participant in project gate reviews ensuring that required cross-functional resources are allocated to execute projects as outlined
Manage reporting of sourcing financial metrics (forecast and actual) including productivity and inflation for responsible plants or projects
Support the development of the Annual Operating Plan for productivity projects, targets and initiatives, as well as support standard setting process for responsible products

Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering or equivalent
~Experience using Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word, is required. Proficiency using Excel at an advanced level (use financial and logical functions; Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data, confirming its accuracy and adequacy, and using it to drive decisions as well as present results and business cases to management
~ Oracle & SAP experience in a global environment is beneficial
~ Ability to travel up to 20%
