OneMain Financial is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the open Administrative Specialist role with the Back Office / Special Handling (BOSH) team. This position will provide administrative support to our account Litigation strategy. This role is responsible for account review, research, and compiling data to complete, sign, and notarize legal documents to provide to our attorney network for litigation. A solid understanding of policy and procedures, CLASS and ELF knowledge, organization, time management, attention to detail, and strong communication skills are required for this role.

In the Role

  • Prepare, process, and organize legal affidavit requests for Litigation and/or Debt Sale strategy as requested
  • Complete legal documentation with an extremely high rate of data accuracy
  • Sign and notarize legal documents to certify as complete and accurate for court filing
  • Balance volume demands for legal affidavits without compromising quality and accuracy of documentation
  • Assist with additional BOSH teams and processes when necessary (Allonges, Affidavits, Payment Processing, Account charge off processing, Debt Sales execution, Borrower’s Assistance execution, etc.)
  • Complete peer review of legal documents for other team members for accuracy
  • Complete required compliance training by assigned due dates
  • Assist with DMT and process updates and/or requirements
  • Provide additional training and mentoring to new hires when requested

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/ GED.

Preferred:

  • Financial Services and Lending background a plus
