The role will primarily conduct commercial agricultural real estate appraisals accurately and uniformly according to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). Conducts appraisals of commercial agricultural real estate according to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and Farmers National Company Standards
Monitors real estate value trends through knowledge and analysis of sales
Serves as a consultant and resource for farm management and real estate staff concerning appraisal matters
Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Business or related field
~Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and Power Point)


Frequently required to sit at a computer workstation to complete typed reports and research
Visual observation of property condition, use of technical tools and maps is required
Frequent travel for property inspections, company meetings or functions is required

Responds to requests for service and assistance; Varies writing style to meet needs; Presents numerical data effectively; Reacts well under pressure; Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Applies feedback to improve performance; Monitors own work to ensure quality.
