Position Overview:

As the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Ren Global Inc., you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, strategic growth, and organizational efficiency. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's operations, ensuring the creation and execution of top-quality business strategies, and lending your expertise to help guide and build the company into a leader in the climate tech industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Continuously evaluate and optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Foster collaboration and communication across departments to facilitate seamless execution of projects and initiatives.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard the company's interests and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Build and nurture a high-performing team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, suppliers, and regulatory bodies, to drive business growth and sustain long-term partnerships.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  • Work closely across the team to develop and manage budgets, forecast financial performance, and optimize resource allocation to maximize profitability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of leadership in the renewable energy industry with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategic initiatives that drive business growth and profitability.
  • Experience growing and developing teams, and managing budgets, in alignment with corporate and departmental goals.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of organizations, both internally and externally.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for sustainability and a commitment to driving positive environmental impact.
  • Deep understanding of renewable energy technologies, project development, and regulatory requirements.
  • A thorough grasp of corporate ESG management and how it is accomplished within large organizations.
  • Familiarity with factories, manufacturing, and global supply chains so as to positively influence corporate supply chains towards renewable energy procurement.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment.
  • Passion for sustainability and renewable energy.
