Refrigeration Technical Support Specialist  STATUS : Full-Time Exempt

Refrigeration Technical Support will provide superior technical support to our OEM’s, non-OEMs, service contractors as well as our sales team, primarily via phone and e-mail. Also assists in providing technical training for our sales teams, contract service companies and customers to enhance their ability to troubleshoot with proficiency on the latest products, of which the design and technology is advancing within the refrigeration industry in general.

Provide post-sales refrigeration technical support to our customers; contract service companies and installing contractors via phone and/or e-mail.
Systematically diagnoses field issues, creating thorough field reports that include the process used to diagnose, the measurements and observations collected, and develop a robust conclusion with recommendations on actions to resolve, while minimizing warranty costs.
Identify quality and performance trends and report to appropriate organization to assure root cause problem resolutions.
Assist sales team, customers and service contractors technical training.
Lead the industry in proficiency of new technology, refrigeration equipment and accessories by attending designated training provided by manufacturers and JTS Associates.
Develop and or source troubleshooting tools for documenting and tracking service calls.
Maintain familiarity with new products being shipped out.
5 years’ experience in the field of HVACR service.
~ Technical knowledge of commercial and industrial refrigeration service and installation.
~ Strong working knowledge of electrical /controls/refrigeration / hydronics.
~ Computer experience and proficiency with MS Office.
~ Familiar with technical writing and technical manuals. 
~ Have good computer skills and understand operating systems and applications.
~ Knowledge of adult training methods and practical approaches to educate experienced as well people new in the field.  

Ability to travel, if needed. Travel would be very minimal if at all.
