As the Director, Clinical Healthcare Operations, you will be at the forefront of managing and optimizing the operational efficiency of our clinical healthcare operations. Your role will encompass overseeing the day-to-day operations of our clinical care team to deliver exceptional patient care through care management and care coordination. Leading a team of dedicated professionals, you will play a pivotal role in driving clinical outcomes and quality initiatives and are expected to foster a culture aligned to our core values with a commitment to collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.

The work you will do:

  • Strategic Planning – Collaborate in developing and execute strategic plans to optimize healthcare operations, aligning with Interwell Health’s goals and objectives. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve workflow processes, enhance patient satisfaction, and maximize resource utilization.
  • Leadership and Team Management - Lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams, providing direction, coaching, and mentorship to ensure high performance and employee engagement.
  • Quality Improvement - Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives, implementing best practices and quality assurance measures to enhance patient care outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Process Optimization - Identify opportunities for process improvement and workflow optimization, implementing strategies to streamline operations, reduce inefficiencies, and enhance productivity.
  • Stakeholder Engagement - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including providers, payers, and community partners, to foster positive relationships and achieve shared goals.
  • Technology Integration - Evaluate, implement, and leverage technology solutions to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Risk Management - Identify and mitigate operational risks, developing and implementing strategies to ensure clinical outcomes, business continuity, and operational effectiveness.
  • Performance Measurement and Reporting - Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess operational performance, regularly monitoring and analyzing data to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations, laws, and policies that govern the provision of clinical care

The skills and qualifications you need:

  • An active clinical license (RN/NP/PA/SW/RD/PharmD)
  • 3+ years of experience operating value-based models of care.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience including the coaching and development of employees.
  • 5+ years of experience in the delivery of care to patients with CKD and ESKD OR other chronic disease management.
  • Experience in investigative data analysis and performance management (Process and Quality Improvement).
  • Experience providing care through telehealth or other technology enabled platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Health Sciences or related field
  • 10% travel required for internal meetings and payer/provider/partner interactions.
