If you share our values to safety and excellence, we want to hear from you. Role Summary: The Supervisor Maintenance oversees the aircraft maintenance teams at Horizon Air. As a people leader, the Supervisor Maintenance leads and establishes priorities for the team of aircraft technicians to ensure overall performance and safety in the day-to-day operation.
Provide administrative and technical control of maintenance and the supervision of aircraft technicians in the overall performance of their duties.
Oversee and monitor the Aircraft on Ground (AOG) team to ensure the safe and timely completion of aircraft maintenance assigned to them in an environment that gives rise to safety, compliance and quality.
Ensure successful staffing through the preparation of workforce schedules and workload analysis.
Evaluate work performance of assigned technicians and new hires, as required.
Communicate with leadership to assure aircraft maintenance is conducted in accordance with company and FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) regulations.
Adhere to Federal, State, company and manufacturer rules, regulations and instructions with regard to aircraft maintenance.
3 years of aviation maintenance experience, preferably for a commercial airline.
~ Bachelor’s degree or an additional two years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree.
~ Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
