A fully licensed MD or DO dedicated to providing quality family medicine services across the lifespan to patients in an underserved community. The Family/Internal Medicine Physician provides a full range of medical services from general preventative care to ongoing acute and chronic illness management.
Supervision Received
Reports directly to the Chief Medical Officer
Supervision Exercised
Clinically supervise nurse practitioners, physician assistants, practice staff and technicians who are employed by or contracted by Employer.
Requires normal visual acuity and hearing. Performance Requirements
Knowledge of professional medical practice and the ability to give and evaluate patient care. Knowledge of organizational policies, regulations and procedures to administer patient care.
Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care. Skill in taking medical history, assessing medical condition and interpreting findings. Skill in preparing and maintaining records, writing reports and responding to correspondence. Skill in developing and maintaining quality services and quality improvement program. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff and the public. Ability to maintain quality control standards. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality patient care
Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems (specifically EPIC)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience with telemedicine and remote patient care is a plus
Adherence to all legal and ethical guidelines pertaining to the practice of medicine
Graduation from an accredited medical school and completion of an accredited residency program.
