Description: Job Title: Project Manager, Development
Vitis Energy is seeking a Project Manager, Development who will have direct responsibility for managing the development of renewable energy projects, to include but not limited to solar, battery storage, and emerging technology projects. This position has responsibility over project schedules and deliverables across a variety of markets including but not limited to: PJM, MISO, NYISO, ISO-NE, SERC and SPP. proven project development and transaction experience; strong communication skills and financial acumen; Manages schedule and deliverables on land control agreements, easements, ALTA/survey, title issues, and landowner relations.
Drives the development of renewable energy projects by ensuring all requirements for evidencing site control and appropriate agreements are in place.
Assists with management of 3rd party consultants involved in environmental studies, securing permits, AHJ interaction, and fieldwork.
Monitor and track progress on business development initiatives and provide regular reports.
Track requirements for project sites for required permits or environmental studies, CWA, FAA, ESA, SHPO, NEPA, wetland surveys, cultural studies, water crossing issues, or any environmental or permitting concerns requiring local, state, or federal agency involvement.
Ensures all necessary permits are acquired and maintained for renewable energy projects.
In collaboration with the Engineering/Interconnection team, the Project Manager oversees the interaction of interconnection schedules and necessary submittal requirements, ensuring seamless workflow amongst respective groups.

Occasionally reviews information regarding potential acquisition projects, counterparties, or sites.

Assists with project budgets, reporting to stakeholders, and development milestone tracking.
Works in matrixed teams to request input from other departments and internal staff to drive development.
Utilize Microsoft SharePoint and its native applications, including lists and Power Automate, to efficiently and accurately manage data, collaborate, and manage workflow automation within projects.

TRAVEL : potential for overnights is approximately 25%

Full time, exempt, on-site (St. 3+ years of experience in solar and/or battery storage project development, with a strong knowledge of PJM, MISO, NYISO, ISO-NE, and/or other power markets.
~ Self-starter who excels in fast-paced environments and can manage and organize multiple project schedules simultaneously.
~ Advanced technical skills are highly preferred, particularly in the context of compiling data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy.
~ Proven success in building partnerships, working in teams, driving solutions, and managing projects.
~ Bachelor's Degree or higher in business, environmental studies, real estate, engineering, law, natural resources, or related fields preferred.
~ Ability to communicate effectively with all audiences, including landowners, coworkers, executives, vendors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
~ Willingness to travel, as required, to project sites, meet with landowners, and represent the company at conferences. The potential for travel is approximately 25%.
~ Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
