Location:

Half Moon Bay, CA

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 8 hours per day/40 hours per week. Open to candidates preferring a 4-day workweek.

Patient Volumes:

Expected 9 encounters per day, with additional hygiene work as needed.

Experience:

Seeking an experienced dentist with 3-5 years of experience who can work independently and align with the organization's mission.

Hygienists:

Dental hygienists in clinic 2 days per week, with plans to expand to 4 days per week.

Start Date:

Desired start date is ASAP, primarily working at HMB clinic within the group's two dental clinics.

Clinical Skills : Proficiency in basic oral surgery, extractions, and fillings. Comfortable referring out 3rd molars.

Patient Demographics:

Group sees some pediatrics; comfort with periodontics is a plus.

Language Skills:

Spanish-speaking is a plus but not required.

Salary Range:

Base salary is

$208K for 3-5 years of experience and $214K+ for over 5 years of experience.

Focus on Quality:

Clinic prioritizes quality of care over patient volumes. No production incentives; emphasis on quality care.

Benefits:

Full benefits package, including paid malpractice insurance.

Percentage of medical insurance covered, 100% of employee dental insurance, and vision insurance available.

Short-term disability, life insurance, paid CA license, DEA fees, and 401K plan with a 4% match.

Possible student loan reimbursement.

Time Off: 2 weeks of PTO in year one, increasing to 3 weeks after 12 months. 8 paid holidays.

Patient Mix: HMB Clinic sees about 80% Medi-Cal and about 20% fee for service.

Requirements:

Dental License (Required)

BLS Certification (Preferred)
