**Job Overview**

Full and part-time positions are available at Half Moon Bay Nursery, including sales and general customer service associate roles. We are looking for passionate and friendly individuals responsible for providing excellent customer service in a friendly and welcoming way. Attention to detail, cleanliness, restocking, moving and loading plants, as well as bagged materials, running a cash register and selling merchandise is required. Positions require individuals to work in an outdoor environment year-round. Weekend availability is a must.

**Daily Responsibilities**
- Welcome customers and assist with garden and plant related questions and recommendations.
- Upon training, operate cash register.
- Re-stocking of merchandise and plant material.
- General nursery maintenance, including watering and pruning plant material.
- Learn and implement daily and seasonal opening and closing procedures.

**Education and Experience**
- High School diploma or GED
- Experience in gardening and landscaping industry is not necessary, but is helpful

**Performance and skills and qualifications**
- High ability to interact with customers and resolve conflict.
- Service oriented, actively looking for ways to help customer and fellow staff.
- Attention to detail. We strive to provide the highest level of results possible.
- Knowledge of what we sell and where it’s located.
- Available to work a varied schedule, including Saturdays, in adverse weather conditions.
- Self-motivated, positive mindset and high energy.
- Some lifting may be required.
- Bilingual is a plus.

**From $20 an hour.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
