We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Maintenance Manager to join our team. The Senior Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities and projects for eight locations on the west side of our Glacier Park Collection. This role manages a team of maintenance technicians and ensures the efficient operation of our facilities and equipment.
25% Trades Maintenance and Repair
Assist with the daily maintenance of operations as needed. This includes minor plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry repairs. Assist with snow removal and minor Grounds work. Ensure the accurate identification of all parts required for repairs and coordinates with the timely ordering of parts and supplies. Identify, establish, and perform all necessary preventative maintenance for all building system equipment.
 
20% Oversee the daily operations of the Maintenance Department
Ensure excellent customer service and department follow through. Conduct regular facility inspections. Ensure department safety and training objectives are met. Use computer-based maintenance program to document work orders and track material usage. Maintain a positive and cooperative work environment with all guests, co-workers, staff, and supervisors. Attend relevant meetings and training. 20% Training and Support
Provide training and support to staff relating to trade. Assist with plan review for projects. Assist with the development of project schedules. Provide inspection and support as owner representative for projects. 15% Supervision of Staff
Assist with the identification and scheduling of necessary training to advance employee development. Support and develop policies and procedures for the department. Disseminate appropriate information to staff. Requires a general contractor background, master trade's license or at least 3 years’ experience in facilities maintenance of a large property complex – preferably hotel.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience supervising/managing employees of different skill bases.
Previous experience in managing large scale projects.
Must possess knowledge of construction safety regulations and general building codes.
Carpentry, basic electrical wiring, basic plumbing and commercial kitchen equipment repair skills are required.
Good human relations skills in dealing with guests, staff, and operating management.
Knowledge of personal computer, email programs, applications of databases (computer maintenance management systems), project management software and spreadsheets is required.
Work is indoors and outdoors (in changing outside temperatures/weather conditions).
