RWJBarnabas Health , the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, is seeking a Hospitalist Nocturnist for Full-Time Employment at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus located in Lakewood, NJ.
This is a great opportunity for eager physicians to join a well-established, multi-disciplinary team working alongside a strong support staff, including advanced practice providers, to provide high-level, quality-driven patient care at one of the top 150 community hospitals in the Nation according to Becker's Hospital Review 2023.
Ideal candidates will be motivated to join a busy practice, support a team-based approach to patient care, and collaborate with other hospitalists, case managers, social workers, bed managers, and others involved in clinical care, discharge planning, and patient/family communications.
Lakewood is a rapidly growing, vibrant community in Ocean County surrounded by beautiful suburban towns that are ideal for families It is also situated adjacent to the famous Jersey Shore beaches, a popular spot for recreation, shopping, and exploring towns with modern residential condominiums and award-winning local restaurants.
Candidate Requirements:
- BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of New Jersey
- Proficient in Resuscitations, Intubations, and Central Lines

About Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus
Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus (MMCSC), located in Lakewood, is a fully accredited acute care hospital dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare services to the community. An RWJBarnabas Health facility, Monmouth South is a sister hospital to MMC in Long Branch and also partners with Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, the State’s only NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, bringing the newest and most promising treatments to MMCSC patients. The Oncology Rehabilitation program is available to all cancer patients and survivors in need, whether they are newly diagnosed, currently undergoing chemotherapy, or long finished with treatment.
