Regional Sales Manager - UV Resources UV Resources is seeking a self-driven Regional Sales Manager in the North/Central USA Region to drive sales and enhance distributor relationships. The ideal candidate has a strong ownership mindset, bias for action, sales‑hunter approach, relentless customer advocacy, and proven B2B sales performance. This position will primarily focus on business development in the major cities located near the Great Lakes area while also managing international clients and other accounts remotely that are part of the assigned territory. 50% travel is required for regular face-to‑face meetings with key accounts and distributors. Responsibilities include delivering technical support and product training to distributors, quote generation, daily phone calls, managing territory sales, and ensuring effective channel coverage. The role will also perform inside sales tasks as needed, with strong HVAC knowledge and B2B sales experience. Essential Functions Overall responsibility for sales in North/Central USA Region for the Company. Improve overall operational effectiveness through the development of annual sales plan, objectives, and forecasts aligned with the business unit. Develop network of distributors to support sales growth. Develop product awareness at consultant/project representative level, providing technical information and new offerings. Cultivate new customers at the installing contractor level; promote products to specifying engineers on new projects. Cultivate new large‑scale projects by pursuing opportunities through personal sales efforts. Maintain strong external focus with awareness of market conditions, customer and competitor activities. Create and execute customized marketing plans for major customers, including trade shows and association events. Establish process to identify potential jobs/projects in region and secure bid from independent rep or end customer. Serve as customer resource for technical and application questions, leveraging internal resources to resolve issues. Extensive travel required, approximately 50%. Listen to customer requests for products and prepare information to submit for quote. Confer with Director of Sales to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals. Assist in departmental functions such as resolving service issues and account receivables. Education Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related discipline Experience 5+ years of experience in sales with a strong track record of achievements and closing. 3+ years of experience in a sales leadership or managerial role. 3+ years of HVAC industry knowledge. Skills and Abilities Computer skills – intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer, and Dynamics CRM. Effective communication skills, including written and verbal. Ability to speak to large groups. Good organizational skills. Proven ability to work independently within guidelines and established procedures. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, handle high volume workload, and participate in trade and home shows. Strong relationship‑building skills.
