Job Description Bestbath is seeking an experienced sales management professional with a strong background in related processes, strategy, and enablement to lead sales efforts in our dealer channel. The position will report to the Director of Sales, Marketing, and Business Development and be responsible for leading a team of regional developers and inside sales staff to develop and grow our dealer business. The role requires a high level of engagement with the sales team, dealers and across the organization as the key leader whose focus will be on delivering an accurate understanding of our dealer network and pipeline and ensuring proper management and execution of sales cycle from lead to close. This is a sales leadership position and not a direct selling role, where expectations will be focused development and deployment of strategy, enabling our sales staff to be more successful, ownership and communication of critical sales metrics, and internal collaboration across functions to help drive continuous improvement in serving our employees, clients, and end users. Responsibilities & Duties Lead, coach, and develop the outside sales team in generating new dealers and working with existing dealers on growing their business. Manage and utilize our CRM to capture opportunities, create visibility on our dealer pipeline. Lead, manage, and support the outside and inside sales team in identifying and building opportunities with our dealer channel. Lead, manage and provide oversight for the internal dealer order processing team. This includes the migration of the sales order to purchase order and through the release to production scheduling. Working closely with the Operations Team to ensure sales order converts to a successfully shipped finished product. Strategy development and deployment, measuring and responding to strategic metrics, and maintaining an understanding of the marketplace to respond to changing conditions. Development and reporting of sales funnel and metrics. Provide appropriate analytics and KPI reporting of relevant data to sales team and leadership. Partnering with marketing team to develop and manage lead handling and flow. Cross functional collaboration to support overall business improvement efforts. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects and deliver them on time. Ongoing engagement with dealers, partners, and associations within key market segments. Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills Bachelor’s degree. Preferred to be in a related area to the position; i.e. business, marketing, finance, design, or construction. 3 years leading a sales team. Documented experience in leading of remote, regionally focused sales professionals. Documented experience in management and optimization of CRM systems to support sales staff. Experienced in consultative selling and an understanding of coaching others to succeed in it. Must have experience and/or a combination of education and experience in providing customer service including assessing customer needs, achieving customer service expectations and evaluation of customer satisfaction Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience or a combination of experience and education in construction or related discipline Bathing-specific industry knowledge is a plus Accessible and aging industry knowledge is a plus Composite industry knowledge is a plus Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record and be insurable Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be proficient in MS office software, Word, Excel, and Outlook Requires traveling a minimum of two weeks per month Requires good credit history Must have thorough working knowledge of sales practices/procedures and general office practices and procedures Must have extensive knowledge of business and technical writing, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills Must develop a strong working knowledge of all local, state, and federal regulations related to Bestbath products and maintain current knowledge to act as a subject matter expert Must have excellent presentation, organizational, and time management skills Experience in sales management software a plus Work Environment & Physical Demands Work is performed primarily in an office environment with moderate noise level. The employee in this class is frequently subject to inside environmental conditions, which provide protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. Position requires sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, which permits the employee to function in a general office environment to accomplish tasks. Constantly requires sitting at a desk for long periods of time, up to 8 hours and ability to lift up to 20 lbs. Constantly requires clarity of speech and hearing, which permits the employee to communicate effectively. Constantly requires clear vision to read printed materials and computer screen to accomplish work. Constantly requires repetitive movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Compensation Base wage of $100,000-$125,000/year DOE An additional variable compensation plan worth up to 40% of the base wage will be provided as well Travel Requirements Local and national air travel is frequently required. Also, will require the use of the employee’s personal vehicle for local transportation.
