The hospital provides comprehensive mental health services and is a Level 3 trauma center, offering an excellent collaborative environment with strong support systems for providers.Opportunity: Physician - PsychiatryJob Details: • Monday-Friday schedule, 8am-4:30pm with no call or nights • One weekend per month, 8am-4:30pm (30-minute unpaid lunch) • January-August assignment with approximately 20-22 shifts per month • Handle 16-18 patient encounters per shift • Epic experience is MUST • Board Eligible accepted but must obtain certification within 5 years of residency • Manage various psychiatric conditions including anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, personality disorders, eating disorders, developmental disorders, psychotic disorders, and organic disorders • Experience with involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, and restraint application required • Pharmacotherapy expertise required, ECT experience preferred • Must have current Missouri license or IMLC • BLS certification required • Credentialing timeframe approximately 60-90 days • Local providers preferred • Position needs to be filled ASAP with start date before MarchCompensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
