As a Solvarus team member, you will serve as a Systems Engineer providing end-to-end Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) services to a National Customer. Duties include: Familiarity and understanding of NITF imagery standards and specification documentation, with the ability to evaluate technical aspects of imagery products and determine the appropriate NITF updates required. Facilitate Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and engineering working groups to review and assess the maturity of engineering artifacts, CONOPS, interfaces, and architecture products. Assist with identification of enterprise and system risks, execute risk mitigation steps, and close risks through the Risk Management (RM) process. Provide project management support for short turnaround projects, including requirements development, project planning, needs assessment, and transition planning. Identify integration issues and coordinate resolution through Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs). Assess engineering change requests and recommend updates within the engineering change management process. Support decision-making and technical consultation, coordinate meetings, and lead the development of initial recommendations for government decision-makers. Qualifications: 9-12 years with BS/BA, 7-10 years with MS/MA, or 7+ years with PhD. Current and active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related technical/scientific fields such as engineering, operations research, or STEM. Familiarity with NITF imagery standards and specifications. Ability to evaluate technical aspects of imagery products and determine necessary NITF standard/specification updates. Self-starter with minimal oversight, capable of completing tasks in a timely manner. Experience supporting requirements engineering, CONOPS development, and system integration within end-to-end systems engineering. Integration and closure experience within the customer domain. Experience identifying user needs, gaps, potential solutions, and assessing alternatives. Ability to operate effectively within various SETA, FFRDC, and government lines of authority. Demonstrated systems engineering process knowledge. Proven communication skills. Desired Skills: Familiarity with direct IC customer operations, mission processing, or mission control systems, including sensor knowledge. Working knowledge of commercial imagery providers (e.g., Maxar, Planet, BlackSky). Tools: Cameo, Tableau, Confluence, Jira.
