Job Details We seek an entry or junior level designer with basic knowledge of AutoCAD and/or other CAD platforms. The ideal candidate has an aptitude for 3D design, a willingness to take on frequent field assignments, and a proactive, communicative personality eager to learn and grow. Compensation $28-38 per hour (anticipated rate may vary based on qualifications, experience, and location). Key Responsibilities Prepare and update piping drawings and layouts using AutoCAD or similar CAD tools Assist in creating 2D and 3D models for piping systems Collaborate with engineers and senior designers to ensure design accuracy and compliance Conduct site visits for data collection and incorporate findings into design work Support design checks and integrate 3D scans into models as required Assist in performing 3D scans at client facilities Job Requirements 0 to 3 years in piping design or a related field Associate degree in Computer-Aided Drafting and Design, or equivalent technical training/experience Basic knowledge of piping fundamentals and drafting principles Basic proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent design software Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Ability to engage with co-workers and clients via Microsoft Teams Ability to travel frequently to a nearby refinery site location; occasional travel to other client sites possible Preferred Skills Exposure to 3D modeling software (CADWorx, Plant 3D, Revit, Solidworks, Inventor) Familiarity with point clouds in a CAD environment Experience with Navisworks Industry Requirements RSO Safety Training and current card or ability to obtain. Client Safety Training and current badge or ability to obtain. TWIC Certification and current card or ability to obtain. Background screening including previous employment, education, criminal history, and driving record verification. Participation in random drug and alcohol programs. Why Eichleay?
