Locum Tenens Opportunity: Emergency Medicine Physician Near Trout Creek, MI We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens position near Trout Creek, MI. Position Overview: Specialty : Emergency Medicine Location : Near Trout Creek, MI Start Date : ASAP Contract Length : Ongoing Coverage Dates : September 30, 2024 (orientation) to October 6, 2024 Shift Type : Scheduled Clinical Hours Only Shift Hours : 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, 7 days a week Key Responsibilities: Patient Care :Provide emergency care for patients in a busy outpatient setting. Average patient load is around 30 patients per day. Perform admissions with an average of 3 admissions per shift. Support Staff :Work alongside ED Physicians and ED RNs. Practice Setting :Outpatient emergency care with both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. Practice Details: EMR System : MediTech Board Certification : Required (Emergency Medicine) Fellowship : Not required Credentialing : Estimated timeframe is 30 days, expedited if documents are submitted promptly. Privileges : Temporary privileges are available if needed. Travel & Lodging : Reimbursement for travel and lodging if necessary. Requirements: Licensure : Must be licensed in Michigan. Certifications :Board Certification in Emergency Medicine. BLS certification is required. Additional Information :ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS are not required.
