Locum Tenens Opportunity: Emergency Medicine Physician Near Trout Creek, MI We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens position near Trout Creek, MI. Position Overview: Specialty: Emergency Medicine Location: Near Trout Creek, MI Start Date: ASAP Contract Length: Ongoing Coverage Dates: September 30, 2024 (orientation) to October 6, 2024 Shift Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only Shift Hours: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, 7 days a week Key Responsibilities: Patient Care: Provide emergency care for patients in a busy outpatient setting. Average patient load is around 30 patients per day. Perform admissions with an average of 3 admissions per shift. Support Staff: Work alongside ED Physicians and ED RNs. Practice Setting: Outpatient emergency care with both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. Practice Details: EMR System: MediTech Board Certification: Required (Emergency Medicine) Fellowship: Not required Credentialing: Estimated timeframe is 30 days, expedited if documents are submitted promptly. Privileges: Temporary privileges are available if needed. Travel & Lodging: Reimbursement for travel and lodging if necessary. Requirements: Licensure: Must be licensed in Michigan. Certifications: Board Certification in Emergency Medicine. BLS certification is required. Additional Information: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS are not required.
