Locum Tenens Thoracic Surgeon Opportunity Near Harrisburg, PA We are seeking a qualified Thoracic Surgeon for a locum tenens position near Harrisburg, PA. Position Overview: Position : Thoracic Surgeon Location : Near Harrisburg, PA Start Date : ASAP End Date : December 21, 2024 Coverage Type : Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call Allowed Holidays : New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day Job Details: Practice Setting : Outpatient EMR System : Epic Hospital Privileges : Required (Temporary privileges available) Patients Per Shift : To be determined Bed In Department : To be determined Rounding : Assigned patients Requirements: Board Certification : Required Fellowship : Required State License : Pennsylvania only Certifications : ACLS (Required) BLS (Required) ATLS (Not required) ABLS (Not required) PALS (Not required) Estimated Credentialing Timeframe : 90 days Additional Information: Call Schedule : Every other weekend starting Friday at 12 PM through Monday at 7 AM Periodic Coverage : Includes vacation coverage throughout the year Facility Certification : Hospital is stroke certified This role offers a unique opportunity for a skilled Thoracic Surgeon to provide top-notch care in an outpatient setting, with a combination of scheduled hours and call coverage.
