Position Overview: Position: Thoracic Surgeon Location: Near Harrisburg, PA Start Date: ASAP End Date: December 21, 2024 Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call Allowed Holidays: New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day Job Details: Practice Setting: Outpatient EMR System: Epic Hospital Privileges: Required (Temporary privileges available) Patients Per Shift: To be determined Bed In Department: To be determined Rounding: Assigned patients Requirements: Board Certification: Required Fellowship: Required State License: Pennsylvania only Certifications: ACLS (Required) BLS (Required) ATLS (Not required) ABLS (Not required) PALS (Not required) Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days Additional Information: Call Schedule: Every other weekend starting Friday at 12 PM through Monday at 7 AM Periodic Coverage: Includes vacation coverage throughout the year Facility Certification: Hospital is stroke certified This role offers a unique opportunity for a skilled Thoracic Surgeon to provide top-notch care in an outpatient setting, with a combination of scheduled hours and call coverage.
