Position Details The Senior Account Manager is an integral part of our Sales team, based out of our US – Teaneck, NJ – Remote location. A senior account manager will create demand and add value through consultative and technical selling with key influencers and decision-makers in the beef industry. Parties will include feedyard managers and key personnel, independent or factory salespeople, nutritionists, and other influencers from current customers or distributors. The incumbent will achieve budgeted sales and gross margin for Phibro product portfolio while effectively managing the expense territory budget. The position will be based in the Nebraska territory. Key Responsibilities Lead the sales efforts for Phibro product portfolio in Nebraska across beef customers including feedyards, nutritionists, regional distribution/feed mills, and targeted veterinary clinics. Utilize Phibro resources and training to develop working knowledge of beef and mineral product portfolio by: Comprehending the scientific principles behind each product and their application. Positioning features and benefits to meet customer needs. Be present at trade shows and industry events to build Phibro brand and grow in professional knowledge, experience, and relationships. Provide product support for customers, key influencers, and end users ensuring proper use of Phibro products. Manage all available resources for business growth and retention. Provide input to business directors, product directors, and finance partners for: Pricing of products and services to maximize customer value and margin contribution. Input on sales support materials needed in the field. Report on industry, customer and competitive trends within the assigned area. Proactive and consistent use of Phibro’s CRM system. Ability to deliver formal presentations to large groups of technical and non‑technical people. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Proficient use of email, phones, cell phones, and office equipment. Education & Experience B.S. in animal science/animal nutrition with beef experience, or another agriculture‑related discipline. Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in a sales position requiring portfolio and value selling, product support, and a collaborative approach, preferably in the beef and/or feed industry. Demonstrated working knowledge of the nutrition industry network, including experience with or willingness to learn customer‑relationship‑management (CRM) software.
