Overview:

Responsibilities:

- Conduct patient assessments and provide direct patient care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment plans
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information
- Provide compassionate end-of-life care in hospice palliative medicine settings

Qualifications:

- Valid RN license in the state of New Mexico

- BLS certification

- Local Nurses only under 50 miles
- Proficiency in IV infusion techniques and physiological knowledge
- Familiarity with workers' compensation laws and standards of nursing practice
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team

Duration: 14 weeks

Shift: 6:30am-7pm, Thursday-Saturday

Pay Breakdown:

$39/hr (taxed + nontaxed)

$18/hr (taxed)

$21/hr (nontaxed/stipend)

$1,404 weekly gross based on 36 hours
