Positions are open to Board Certified or Board Eligible physicians, generalist specialists in the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology. Family Planning Specialists are welcome to apply. Hospitalist, laborist, and nocturnist options may be considered based on candidate fit. As a generalist, you will treat diseases and disorders of the female reproductive system and provide comprehensive care during prenatal, labor, and postnatal periods. Clinical responsibilities include cesarean delivery, hysterectomy, and all standard outpatient OB/GYN procedures. The practice is based at University Hospital, using the renovated labor floor, the Ambulatory Care Center, and other Rutgers New Jersey Medical School sites. Faculty appointments are integrated into the teaching mission of the medical school, fostering professional interests while meeting clinical needs. Global health, clinical research, patient safety/quality, and addiction medicine are encouraged. Leadership opportunities are available commensurate with experience and interest. Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience: New Jersey medical license. Applicants completing residency or fellowship training who have not yet obtained all required licensure or board eligibility may be considered; documentation of licensure/board eligibility must be obtained prior to first day of employment. Preferred Experience: Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN; prior experience as a hospitalist, laborist, or nocturnist; specialization in family planning; experience with teaching or academic medicine.
