Overview Sustainable Talent is partnering with Nvidia, a global leader transforming computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for over 25 years. We are looking for an Infrastructure System Administrator to support our client's Infrastructure team. This is a W-2 full-time contract based onsite in Santa Clara, CA. We offer competitive pay $70/hr - $85/hr based on factors like experience, education, location, etc., and provide full benefits, PTO, and a great company culture. As a System Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our infrastructure. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the success of our high-tech initiatives. Responsibilities Manage and maintain the infrastructure , including servers, network devices, storage systems, and virtualization platforms. Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems, software applications, and hardware components. Implement and maintain security measures to protect the company\'s data and systems from cyber threats and vulnerabilities. Monitor system performance and reliability, identifying and resolving issues in a proactive manner to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance. Plan and execute system upgrades, migrations, and patch management activities, adhering to best practices and minimizing disruptions to business operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives, providing technical expertise and guidance for projects. Develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and policies, to ensure effective knowledge transfer and compliance with regulatory requirements. Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner to ensure productivity and user satisfaction. Participate in on-call rotation and respond to system emergencies outside of regular business hours as needed. Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role in a high-tech environment. Strong knowledge of Linux and/or Windows operating systems, as well as experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). Strong understanding of system hardware and remote management via IPMItool, iLO, iDRAC, etc. Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python. Familiarity with network protocols, security principles, and ITIL framework. Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and implement effective solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, VMware Certified Professional) are a plus.
