About our Line of Business – Cloud & Data Centre Solutions ST Engineering Cloud and Data Centre Solutions Pte Ltd provides all aspects of cloud management, services, and solutions, from initial setup and migration to ongoing operations and optimization. Services include engineering works to design, build and provide facility management service for mission critical environments such as data centers, disaster recovery, and business continuity sites. We are seeking an experienced Engineering Lead to spearhead one of our AWS Cloud Services. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you will architect and deliver secure, scalable, and cost‑efficient AWS solutions while guiding a team of talented engineers. You will own Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, champion automation, and serve as the subject‑matter expert for AWS services and technologies. Beyond technical excellence, you will foster strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring alignment between business needs and cloud capabilities. Your leadership will shape the future of our cloud platform, enabling innovation, compliance, and operational excellence. AWS Cloud Engineering: Own the architecture, design, and delivery of secure, scalable, and cost‑efficient AWS solutions Team Leadership: Mentor engineers, build technical capabilities, and foster a culture of collaboration and DevOps excellence Customer Engagement: Act as a trusted technical advisor, managing relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure alignment and satisfaction Governance & Compliance: Develop solutions to meet evolving security, compliance, and governance requirements Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reliability, and scalability Infrastructure as Code: Drive automation using Terraform, Terraform Enterprise, GitLab CI/CD pipelines, and Ansible Automation Platform for consistent deployments Automation & DevOps: Enhance and maintain automation frameworks (Lambda, Step Functions, SSM Documents, Bash/PowerShell scripts) to improve operational efficiency Qualities We Value 5+ years in cloud engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role Proven ability to lead teams, mentor engineers, and manage complex projects Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, communicate technical concepts clearly, and manage expectations Deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, Lambda, Step Functions, etc.).
