The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in hardware product design, testing, and verification, with a strong background in analog, digital, and mixed‑signal development for industrial and oil & gas environments. Job Title: Hardware Engineer Location: Houston, TX (Onsite) Employment Type: Full‑Time, W2 Only (No C2C / Subcontractors) Experience: 5–10 Years Responsibilities Lead hardware redesign efforts, including value engineering and reverse engineering. Perform circuit analysis, design simulations, and EMI/EMC assessments. Participate in the full hardware product development lifecycle. Design and test digital, analog, and mixed‑signal circuits. Work with microcontrollers, processors, and FPGA‑based systems. Conduct hardware/product integration, testing, and troubleshooting. Perform component selection, design calculations, and worst‑case analysis. Support compliance testing and product qualification. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on system evaluations and design improvements. Create and review multi‑layer PCB layouts using tools such as ORCAD, Allegro, or Mentor Graphics PADS. Required Skills Strong experience in analog and mixed signal design. Microcontroller and FPGA‑based hardware development. Proficiency in communication protocols (SPI, I2C, CAN). Schematic capture and PCB layout expertise. Hands‑on testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis. Knowledge of DFMEA, functional safety, and compliance standards. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related discipline. 7+ years of relevant hardware engineering experience. Expert in hardware CAD tools (preferably Altium Designer, ORCAD, etc.). Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
