We are seeking an experienced and innovative Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical engineering with a focus on designing, implementing, and optimizing electrical systems and infrastructure within a manufacturing environment. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to drive complex projects to successful completion. The compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive. This position has a target total compensation range of $130,000 - $180,000. Base salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Primary Responsibilities Lead the design and development of electrical systems and components for manufacturing equipment and facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Manage and oversee electrical engineering projects from conception through to execution. This includes planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with cross‑functional teams to meet project milestones. Provide advanced troubleshooting and problem‑solving for electrical systems and equipment. Analyze system performance and implement improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency. Ensure that all electrical systems and components adhere to relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements. Develop and enforce best practices for electrical design and safety. Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff. Provide technical direction and support to ensure successful project execution and professional development of team members. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for electrical systems, including design specifications, schematics, and operational procedures. Work closely with other engineering disciplines, manufacturing teams, and external vendors to integrate electrical systems with mechanical, controls, and automation systems. Drive innovation by researching and applying new technologies and methodologies to improve electrical systems and manufacturing processes. Develop and deliver training programs for staff on electrical systems, safety practices, and maintenance procedures. Professional Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Master’s degree or advanced certifications (e.g., PE, PMP) are advantageous. -Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably within the manufacturing industry. Proven track record in managing complex projects and leading engineering teams. Expertise in electrical system design, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems. Proficiency in electrical engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, MATLAB). Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to analyze and address complex electrical issues. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. In‑depth knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC). Experience with industrial electrical systems and equipment, including motors, drives, and transformers. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools. Position will require travel up to 20%. This is a full‑time position with hours dictated by business needs.
