Position Summary The selected candidate will provide advanced technical and instructional systems expertise in support of the TRITON UAS Maintenance Training Program. This role requires in‑depth knowledge of Naval Aviation Organizational‑level maintenance practices, with specific emphasis on Aviation Machinist Mate (AD) systems, processes, and maintenance documentation. The candidate will support the full lifecycle of curriculum development, including analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE), and will ensure all training products comply with Navy training standards, technical directives, and program requirements. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for Aviation Machinist Mate (AD) systems, procedures, and maintenance tasks relevant to TRITON UAS Organizational‑level maintenance Execute course maintenance, content updates, and configuration control in accordance with Navy training system requirements and program directives Perform instructor duties and assume course manager responsibilities, including scheduling, documentation, and training readiness reporting Conduct front‑end analysis (FEA) and apply Instructional Systems Design (ISD) methodologies to develop and validate learning objectives, enabling objectives, and performance criteria Develop technical training materials, including lesson plans, trainee guides, instructor guides, assessments, and media assets aligned with NAVAIR and NETC standards Integrate technical data, maintenance procedures, and engineering changes (ECPs, TDs, NATOPS updates, IETMs) into courseware and instructional products Design and implement performance‑based training activities, labs, and practical exercises that accurately replicate operational maintenance tasks Ensure courseware accuracy, traceability, and compliance with the End‑to‑End (E2E) process, including TCCD, PPP, and CTTL development Maintain project documentation, version control, and course configuration baselines in accordance with program and government requirements Coordinate with program leads, engineers, logisticians, and fleet representatives to ensure training content reflects current system configuration and operational requirements Support continuous improvement initiatives, training system modernization, and integration of new technologies or instructional delivery methods Required Skills & Qualifications Demonstrated experience in Instructional Systems Design (ISD) and curriculum development within a DoD or Naval Aviation environment Extensive background in Naval or Marine Corps Organizational‑level maintenance, preferably with direct AD rating experience Prior experience as a U.S. military training instructor (805A / 9502 NEC or equivalent) preferred Proficiency in interpreting technical manuals, maintenance requirement cards (MRCs), IETMs, and engineering change documentation Strong technical writing skills and ability to produce structured, standards‑compliant training documentation Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain schedules, and meet deliverable deadlines in a dynamic program environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite; experience with graphic design or media development tools is advantageous Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to interface with government customers, SMEs, and cross‑functional technical teams Position Requirements Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance - Secret What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Collaborative, veteran‑led team environment Meaningful work supporting the U.S. Navy and national defense Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level Employment Type Full‑time Job Function Human Resources Industries Professional Training and Coaching #J-18808-Ljbffr
