Principal Consultant – Insurance & Reinsurance JCW is currently working on behalf of a wholesale MGA specializing in commercial binding authority business looking to add a Territory Sales Manager. This role offers the chance to take full ownership of an underperforming but high-potential region, with strong backing from underwriting, service, and a tech‑enabled platform that lets you focus on production. You’ll have the autonomy to run your territory like your own business while being part of a company that’s driving real change in wholesale distribution. CANDIDATE MUST BE LOCATED IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA Key Responsibilities: Drive regional premium growth by developing retail agent partnerships, increasing engagement, and identifying new business opportunities. Own and manage agent relationships, serving as the main point of contact for submissions, training, and ongoing support. Collaborate with underwriting and service teams to ensure smooth execution, efficient production, and achievement of aggressive GWP goals. Key Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in E&S commercial insurance, ideally within an MGA, wholesale, or binding authority environment. Proven track record of developing and maintaining relationships with independent retail agents and consistently hitting growth or premium targets. Entrepreneurial, self‑motivated, and comfortable managing a territory with significant growth potential, leveraging strong underwriting and service support.
