Join Our Team as a Locum OB/GYN Physician in Longmont, CO Make a Difference When It Matters MostWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Locum OB/GYN Physician to provide urgent holiday coverage at Longmont United Hospital. This vital role offers an opportunity to deliver exceptional care to a diverse patient population during a critical time, ensuring continuity of care for obstetric and gynecological emergencies. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to patient well-being, this is the perfect opportunity to contribute your expertise and support a busy obstetrics and gynecology department.Required Skills:Valid and unrestricted Colorado medical license or IMLC certification Proven experience in obstetrics and gynecology, including emergency procedures Proficiency in managing GYN emergencies and performing C-sections Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Familiarity with EPIC EMR system Ability to work 24-hour shifts, including on-call duties Willingness to work during holiday periods and adapt to variable scheduling Nice to Have Skills:Previous experience in Level III Trauma settings Experience supporting family practice OB/GYN coverage Bilingual capabilities are a plus but not required Prior experience working in hospital-based inpatient settings Preferred Education and Experience:Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology Minimum of 2 years of post-residency clinical practice in OB/GYN Prior experience working in hospital or emergency settings Other Requirements:Commitment to work the specified schedule from November 27 at 7 a.m. through November 29 at 7 a.m., with additional shifts to be scheduled based on departmental needs Complete EMR training modules prior to initial assignment Must stay at the preferred Hampton Inn hotel in Longmont or follow travel policies if accommodations are unavailable Ability to coordinate with support staff and adhere to hospital safety protocols Willingness to participate in credentialing and administrative processes promptly This role offers an hourly pay rate of $0.00, with comprehensive support, scheduling flexibility, and the chance to impact patient lives during a critical time.
