Job Description Join Our Team as an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician - Make a Difference in Patient CareAre you a dedicated OB/GYN physician seeking a rewarding opportunity to provide exceptional care in a dynamic clinical setting? This role offers a unique blend of hospital-based obstetric coverage and outpatient gynecology clinics, playing a vital part in fostering healthy families and thriving communities.Key Responsibilities: Provide obstetric and gynecologic care, including managing deliveries at a neighboring hospital. Support a collaborative team of five OB providers and midwives. Conduct approximately 14 patient consultations per day, focusing on teenagers and adults. Participate in a 24-hour hospital call shift and two outpatient clinic days weekly. Utilize EMR eClinicalWorks for documentation and patient management. Ensure compliance with all medical standards, including board certification and DEA licensing. Support patient care with onsite ultrasound, and deliver consistent, quality healthcare services. Required Skills: Valid and active New York State medical license. Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology; board-eligible candidates will not be considered. Proven clinical expertise in obstetrics and gynecology. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in managing deliveries and outpatient gynecology. Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience in community health settings. Ability to support work with minimal supervision. Familiarity with EMR systems, especially eClinicalWorks. Experience with hospital-based obstetric services and ultrasound procedures. Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Minimum of 2 years of OB/GYN practice experience. Current DEA certification and NY state licensure. Other Requirements: Willingness to be on-call for 24-hour shifts, with hospital presence required. Reliable transportation; local providers preferred to minimize travel costs. Ability to complete credentialing within 60-90 days. No lodging arrangements provided; travel reimbursements available through mileage or rental car options.
