Join Our Esteemed Healthcare Team as an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician Are you a dedicated OB/GYN physician passionate about providing exceptional women s health care? We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician to join our reputable healthcare network. This critical role offers an opportunity to deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic services within a supportive environment, making a meaningful impact on patient lives. In this role, you will support a busy community health setting, providing care to teenagers and adults, with an emphasis on obstetrics (95%) and gynecology (5%).
You will work alongside a team of five OB providers and midwives, offering both inpatient and outpatient services, including onsite ultrasound and deliveries at a neighboring hospital. The position involves a combination of a 24-hour hospital call shift once every week, followed by two 8-hour clinic days, fostering a balanced work schedule that promotes work-life harmony. Required Skills: Active New York State medical license Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology DEA certification Ability to work independently with strong clinical judgment Excellent communication and patient management skills Proficiency with EMR systems (experience with eClinicalWorks preferred) Comfort delivering at a neighboring hospital Ability to work within a collaborative multidisciplinary team Nice to Have Skills: Experience with maternity and delivery management Prior work in community health centers Ultrasound proficiency Bilingual abilities in relevant languages Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) Minimum of 2 years of OB/GYN practice experience Experience supporting a diverse patient demographic Certification and credentialing readiness within 60-90 days Other Requirements: Must have reliable transportation for daily travel Minimal travel expenses; mileage reimbursement available using personal vehicle, with rental car options if necessary Ability to work scheduled shifts that include a 24-hour call and clinic days Willingness to participate in a brief phone interview and an onsite tour with department leadership Compensation: Hourly Rate: $222.30 Enjoy competitive pay packages, weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), and a robust referral bonus program.
