Solutioning Director

Ciklum is looking for a Solutioning Director to join our team full-time in Poland. About the role: We are seeking a seasoned Solutioning Director to lead the presales solution architecture function across large, complex deals for Western Europe Geography. This role is ideal for a technology leader with deep experience in enterprise architecture, engineering-led solutioning, and presales strategy. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with sales, bid management, and delivery teams to craft compelling, scalable, and cost-effective solutions that align with client business outcomes. Responsibilities: Own end-to-end solutioning for large pursuits (RFPs, RFIs, proactive proposals) Drive solution strategy across cloud, digital, data, AI, platforms, and integration layers Align solution blueprints with client enterprise architectures and transformation goals Guide teams on trade-offs, scalability, security, TCO, and innovation Presales & Deal Strategy:Partner with Sales Directors and Account Leaders to develop win strategies Lead solution workshops, orals, client‑facing presentations and technical defenses Review and approve solution architectures, effort estimates, and pricing models Influence storytelling, differentiation, and value articulation in proposals Mentor and lead a team of solution architects and presales consultants Build capability in AI‑driven solutioning, low‑code, cloud‑native design, and more Promote reusability, accelerators, frameworks, and solution IP Innovation & Engineering Thinking:Bring in modern architecture practices (event‑driven, composable, microservices, etc.) Evaluate and integrate AI/GenAI, automation, and platform thinking into solutioning Champion engineering excellence, DevOps, and cloud‑native delivery models Requirements: Technical & Architectural Depth:15+ years in IT services, with at least 7+ in presales or solution architecture roles Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), enterprise integration, data, and AI‑driven engineering Hands‑on knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, etc.) Exposure to full‑stack development, API/microservices, DevSecOps, and observability Proven track record of solutioning and winning large multi‑million‑dollar pursuits Experience working with bid management teams and contributing to RFP responses Ability to balance innovation with cost, risk, and delivery feasibility Leadership & Communication:Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Executive presence with ability to engage CXO clients and internal leadership Experience leading teams across geographies and managing high‑pressure deadlines MBA or relevant business qualification (optional but preferred) Exposure to GenAI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper, Firefly, etc.) What`s in it for you?
