Part-time Evening Shift (2pm-10:30pm)

15% shift differential for evening, night, and weekend shifts

*Position Summary:*
The Phlebotomists/Processor collects, transports, and processes laboratory specimens.

*Responsibilities:*
* Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures according to departmental procedures
* Accurately label and prepare specimens for testing or transport
* Complete requisitions and manage specimen receipt using computer systems
* Deliver specimens to testing areas
* Maintain equipment and assist with problem-solving related to patient draws and orders
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, corporate standards, and departmental policies
* Conduct inventory checks, train new employees, and maintain a safe work environment

*Qualifications:*
* High School Graduate or equivalent
* Some experience or training in phlebotomy or laboratory science is preferred

*Safety & Physical Demands:*
* Ability to walk 5-7 miles daily and stand for entire shift
* Exposure to biohazard substances and hazardous chemicals
* Adherence to safety, ergonomic, and health policies
* Compliance with PPE requirements in lab or biohazard areas
* Completion of required safety training and health evaluations promptly
* Proactive approach to identifying and addressing safety hazards, promoting safety awareness
