JR Financial Analyst, Coordinator needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's Entertainment client located in Culver City, CA.Assignment Duration: 6+ Months (Initial contract)Location: Los Angeles, CA 90232Schedule: Onsite, in officeHours : 37.5 Hours per weekPay Rate: $23-25 per hour (Max)Position OverviewIn this role, you will be providing support for our labels by working on all merchandise-related finance functions, and day-to-day operational support. Day to Day Operational SupportAssisting with Account, Vendor & Metadata Set-up Requests Invoicing Review and Processing; prepare TOA and ensure invoices are paid in a timely fashion. Checking daily wires report from corporate, review and claim cash receipts. Month End Close and ReportingAnalyzing the full Ceremony of Roses P&L and balance sheet. Supporting the monthly close, all related monthly journal entries. Tour SupportManaging cash receipts for Touring Journalizing AR Assist in preparation of Tour Settlements; (Locate tour expenses – Shipping, Road Reps, Tour Inventory (reconcile production vs. closing inventory) Other Support and AnalysisDeveloping a keen understanding of Retail, Tour, and Licensing revenue streams for operational support and continuous development of best practices Assist in the preparation of the forecast file (Actual vs. Forecast) by month manually by artist, label, and revenue stream. Ad Hoc tour, retail, and or licensing analysis. Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in accounting or finance Minimum 1-2 years of business experience in accounting or financial analysis role (entertainment / music industry experience a plus, with an interest in music being ideal) and working knowledge of GAAP. Experience with SAP. Highly skilled in MS Excel and solid proficiency in other MS applications. Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Well organized, detail oriented and proactive with ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects and priorities, meet deadlines and achieve effective results in a fast-paced team-oriented environment. A curious individual who demonstrates attention to detail and can identify gaps in which processes can be done better. Entertainment industry preferred but not required. Estimated Min Rate : $23.00Estimated Max Rate : $25.00Note: Any pay ranges displayed are estimations.
