The candidate will join a group of 12 anesthesiologists and over 20 CRNAs. Additionally, the candidate will be working with our ACGME accredited Anesthesiology Residency Program of 16 residents. Visa Sponsorship not available. Responsibilities/Duties: Provide anesthesia coverage (depending on subspecialty) in the following areas:o General Surgeryo Vascular Surgeryo Orthopedic Surgeryo Podiatric Surgeryo Ophthalmological Surgeryo Gynecological Surgeryo Otolaryngological Surgeryo Plastic Surgeryo Urological Surgeryo Neurological Surgeryo Trauma Surgeryo Labor and Delivery Anesthesia A mixture of supervising residents and doing own cases• 10-hour shifts on non-call days• An average of one 24-hour out-of-house call per week with resident physician• Post-call day off Requirements ASA Board Certification or Eligibility Current ACLS, BLS, PALS Active CA license prior to start date. Interest in teaching and residency education Compensation 1099 Independent Contractor status $280-$290/hour rate for hours worked in the Operating RoomPotential to earn more by covering additional shifts. - up to $690k annually Up to $50k sign on bonus with 3-year full-time retention. Up to $100k loan repayment with a 4-year full time retention Additional compensation through the GME office for Core Faculty activities and responsibilities All compensation subject to market rate adjustment on an annual basis
