Director of Corporate Strategy

In this role, you will work closely with senior functional and field leadership to drive key strategic initiatives, both M&A and organic, aligned with our client's long-term growth plan. You will oversee the ideation, evaluation, and execution of high-impact, cross-functional value drivers and enablers that enhance their value proposition, customer experience, and financial performance.


Key Responsibilities:

Business Strategy and Development:

  • Engage in executive-level discussions on corporate strategy, planning, and implementation of major initiatives.
  • Facilitate the annual strategic planning process and partner with key stakeholders to drive alignment, buy-in, and accountability towards shared goals.

Project Leadership and Management:

  • Lead, facilitate, and influence a wide range of strategic, commercial, or operational projects. This includes M&A pipeline management, pre-deal due diligence, post-deal integration, market and competitive analysis, adjacent market entry, organizational design, sales coverage model optimization, product positioning and pricing, inventory management, logistics optimization, and capital allocation.

Business Analytics and Financial Modeling:

  • Utilize financial data modeling techniques, statistical analysis, market research, industry trends, and competitive benchmarking to inform valuation, forecasting, and decision-making.

Leadership and Communication:

  • Communicate effectively with senior executives, peers, and external partners, building coalitions and fostering a collaborative work culture.
  • Develop team members for future career paths in various functional leadership or general management roles within the organization.


Education and Qualifications:

  • Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Preferred Education: Graduate Degree in Business Administration with a focus on finance, strategy, or general management.
  • Experience: 10+ years of relevant business experience in business analytics, operations, corporate strategy, finance, product management, investment or equity banking, or strategy consulting; 7+ years of progressive leadership experience.
  • Skills: Proficiency in financial data modeling (forecasting, valuation, etc.) with experience in big data analytics and statistical modeling. Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to lead large-scale, complex, or high-impact projects. Strong organizational change-management skills and the ability to facilitate cross-functional assignments.
  • Preferred Skills: Experience with data visualization or BI tools such as Tableau and SQL.
  • Travel: 20%-25% travel required.
