We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Los Angeles County. This role is critical in supporting day-to-day HR operations, ensuring smooth employee processes, and fostering a positive and compliant work environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional with a strong understanding of HR practices and California labor laws.


Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating offers.
  • Oversee onboarding to ensure a smooth and engaging start for new employees.
  • Employee Relations
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, addressing employee concerns, and mediating conflicts professionally and confidentially.
  • Support management in resolving employee issues and implementing disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • HR Policy Implementation
  • Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures to align with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
  • Stay current on California labor laws, ensuring organizational adherence to all legal and regulatory standards.
  • Performance Management
  • Support managers in conducting performance reviews, setting objectives, and creating development plans for employees.
  • Facilitate employee engagement initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Compensation & Benefits Administration
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and annual renewals.
  • Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate processing of employee compensation.
  • Training & Development
  • Identify employee training needs and coordinate programs to enhance skills and career development.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion through tailored initiatives.
  • HR Data & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate employee records and generate regular HR metrics and analytics to guide decision-making.
  • Support audits and compliance reporting, including EEO, OSHA, and other required filings.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience in a generalist role.
  • Strong understanding of California labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR certification strongly preferred.
