A Roofing project manager is responsible for estimating, selling and managing roofing ACCOUNTS.
Develop and maintain strategic relationships
Prepare accurate, timely estimates for potential ROOF WORK AND REPAIR WORK·
Manage projects for customer satisfaction, profitability and future process improvements·
Follow the professional process: Target – Discover – Qualify – verify – present – close – manage
Role and Responsibilities
Specific Duties, Functions, Responsibilities, Requirements and Skills
- Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to generate and deliver proposals tailored to the audience needs
- Strong working knowledge of standard MS Office suite of programs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Generate leads via self-cold calling and company generated leads
- Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
- Perform cost benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
- Develop estimates for potential service jobs
- Consult with clients, vendors, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues
- Competently represent the company brand at all times
- Maintain a neat and clean appearance to represent a positive image of the company and its brand at all times
- Document customer feedback
- Identify and pursue potential business
- Be responsive to the needs of existing and potential customers
- Continuously improve through feedback
- Display self-starter and self-motivating characteristics
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
- Provide improvement recommendations to service department procedures
- Maintain accurate, complete, and organized files
- Confer with building owners / managers, direct supervisory personnel, and subcontractors to meet customer requirements and prevent delays
- Perform site visits as needed
- Possess relationship management skills and be open to constructive feedback
- Display a competitive drive to succeed
- Adapt, adjust, and overcome objections
- Participate in training and professional development and put new skills to immediate and meaningful use
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Foster a positive and pleasant working relationship with members of the company
- Conduct oneself with a sense of urgency
