Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage automation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Lead customer interaction and relationship building, acting as the primary point of contact for project updates and client needs.
  • Build and mentor exceptional teams, identifying strengths and addressing areas for growth to ensure optimal team performance.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, distributors, and contractors to source the right solutions for our clients, managing these relationships to ensure timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with other managers within the company to align project schedules, share critical information, and maintain a strong customer-oriented focus throughout all phases of the project.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including quality assurance documents, ensuring consistent tracking of progress and project milestones.
  • Leverage available tools and technology to their fullest extent, ensuring that all project management and automation software solutions (e.g., Microsoft Office, Project, Teams) are used to optimize workflows, improve collaboration, and ensure seamless execution.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Develop and track project plans, timelines, and deliverables, providing regular status updates to internal leadership and clients.
  • Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle to ensure smooth execution.
  • Oversee the budget for each project, managing resources effectively to maintain profitability while delivering on customer expectations.
  • Maintain documentation of all project phases to ensure accountability and transparency across teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years managing complex projects, ideally within the automation or industrial sectors.
  • Strong understanding of project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, PMP, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software (Microsoft Project, Teams, etc.).
  • Experience working with automation technologies, including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
  • Proven ability to manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables effectively.
  • Ability to ensure the fullest use of available tools to enhance project efficiency and team collaboration.
