Job Description: As a Project Engineer II at Synerfac, you will play a key role in supporting the project team on several smaller or larger complex projects and serving as a lead technical resource on smaller projects. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with management and stakeholders, managing change orders, providing interpretation of plans and specifications, assembling complete submittal packages, procuring equipment and materials, and analyzing and resolving complex questions and problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with management and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  2. Manage change orders and track their progress to ensure accurate completion.
  3. Provide interpretation of plans and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  4. Assemble complete submittal packages and other required project documentation information.
  5. Procure equipment and materials, and participate in selection and hiring of subcontractors.
  6. Analyze and resolve complex questions and problems as needed.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience working in the MEP field.
  • 4-year degree in Engineering or applicable experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of applicable systems design, such as HVAC, plumbing, etc., as well as general understanding of system operations.
  • Ability to read mechanical and plumbing plans.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including CADD and Microsoft Office Products, such as Excel.
