DESCRIPTION

AP Professionals has partnered with a fantastic, local company in search of a Sales Representative. Open due to continued growth and advancement within the company and department


This is a full time, direct hire opportunity.

Applicants must be located within Rochester, NY and able to commute.

This opportunity is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Market and promote products and services comprehensively to a diverse customer base encompassing commercial, municipal, and residential accounts.
  • Ensure diligent follow-up on sales quotes and streamline collection procedures for all accounts.
  • Develop and regularly revisit robust Key Account Plans tailored to specific customer segments, ensuring the execution of outlined objectives.
  • Proactively seek out new customer relationships and project opportunities, meticulously tracking and communicating these prospects to relevant stakeholders.
  • Determine accurate product pricing based on cost factors and collaborate closely with operational teams to optimize opportunities.
  • Maintain active communication channels with various company divisions and Lines of Business.
  • Keep abreast of market dynamics and competitor activities by actively tracking and recording market intelligence.
  • Foster and enhance relationships with customers, prioritizing high levels of customer service.
  • Ensure precise and timely input of various data, including formal quotes, sales calls, and market intelligence, into Salesforce in accordance with standards.
  • Conduct regular visits to plant locations, job sites, and customer offices to stay connected and informed.


EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience in a related field.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from job sites is a necessity.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS

  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in multitasking and adeptly managing shifting priorities.
  • Competence in utilizing web-based applications and standard office software programs.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot (or any other CRM), and/or AS/400 is advantageous.
