What You’ll Do:

As our Outside Insurance Salesperson, your primary focus will be on expanding our referral network and driving business growth. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Build and nurture relationships with local businesses, organizations, and individuals to generate referrals and leads
  • Actively prospect for new clients through door-to-door outreach, networking events, and community involvement
  • Cultivate strategic partnerships with real estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other industry professionals to drive mutual business opportunities
  • Utilize various marketing tools and techniques to promote our insurance offerings and expand brand awareness
  • Collaborate with our Leland Office Manager and sales staff to ensure seamless client experiences and optimize sales strategies


Qualifications:

  • Must be able to pass the state exam to become a NC licensed property and casualty insurance agent
  • 3+ years of proven track record of success in outside sales, with a focus on building referral networks and driving business growth
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and foster meaningful connections
  • Experience in door-to-door sales, community engagement, and participation in local organizations or groups
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for exceeding targets and delivering exceptional customer experiences
