Description:
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources OR 3-5 years HR Administrative experience.
Excellent computer skills required; proficient in Microsoft Office, electronic communications (email, calendars, etc.).
Knowledge, skills and abilities in Human Resources functions, policies and procedures
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated sense of urgency, responsiveness and willingness to go the extra mile to meet customer needs.
Ability to think independently, problem solve and maintain composure in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
Proven ability to manage and execute tasks with conflicting priorities.
Strong sense of initiative and a proactive approach to work.
Proven ability to multi-task and juggle several things at a time.
Ability to function in a team environment and collaborate within and across organizational lines.
Ability to create and run queries in the HRIS system
Preferred Additional Qualifications for Position
Workday HR experience
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions
Work closely with HR and other business/union leaders to provide reporting and analysis to support key initiatives and summaries to present and interpret data, identify alternatives, and suggest and justify recommendations
Ability to work within Workday HRIS
Create and run queries.
Manipulate data into Excel and PowerPoint for efficient use by the HR team and business partners.
Lead and submit new job creation, job codes, budget locations, etc. as well as seeking and tracking approvals for vacancies and pay changes.
Compile and analyze data and make recommendations regarding human resources programs and systems; assist in the enforcement/administration of related policies
Maintain databases to track HR data, maintain/run reports and analytics, summarize data for efficient use by the HR team and business partners. (Attendance Reports, track job bidding).
Complete special projects by clarifying project objective; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information; fulfilling transactions.
Create, implement and maintain improved HR reports, data,
Support HR team with attendance reports, bidding and bumping process, correspondence with local union office.
Assist leaders with the creation of job requisitions and processing transactions for represented employees
Designs, and completes spreadsheets (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.).
Assist employees with questions regarding, policies and other concerns.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Continuous improvement and development of processes.
