Position Overview: As a Project Coordinator on our product team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of various furniture manufacturing projects. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, production, and marketing, to drive projects from concept to completion. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Scheduling:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and schedules.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Identify and mitigate potential project risks and obstacles.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between product design, supply chain, engineering, production, and marketing control teams.
  • Coordinate resources and ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, and status updates.
  • Generate regular progress reports and presentations for project stakeholders.
  • Track project expenses, budgets, and resource allocations.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains within the project management workflow.
  • Proactively seek feedback from project team members to improve project delivery and execution.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices and standard operating procedures.

Miscellaneous Duties:

  • Assist the Product & Marketing Team with sales requests and other various one-off tasks


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, product development preferred.
  • Proven experience in project coordination or management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the furniture industry.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
