Title: Subcontracts Administrator

Location: Huntsville, AL

Salary: $70-$90k


GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Supports management of the lifecycle of company subcontracts, by performing duties associated with sourcing materials, equipment, and services that support organizational efforts.

DUTIES

• Works with Supply Chain and other company staff to:

o Support Proposals and Pricing with preparing requests for proposals (RFPs), obtaining subcontractor proposals, evaluating proposals, providing input for cost proposals, conducting fact finding, preparing cost and/or price analyses and participate in multi-facet negotiations.

o Negotiate, administer, and manage complex subcontracts, high value procurements, and complex service subcontracts within price, schedule, and performance standards.

o Negotiates and executes NDAs, TAs, and other agreement documents.

o Provide direct subcontract support, review of contractual documents to ensure protection of company's contractual/risk posture, satisfaction of contractual requirements and adherence to company policies.

o Anticipate, plan, and implement actions necessary to ensure product quality, cost/budgets, schedules, technical and contractual performance by subcontractor. Monitor and periodically report on cost, schedule and technical status of projects and recommend/implement corrective actions as required.

o Track and administer subcontractor modifications

o Process subcontractor invoices and track payments.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or other related degree preferred

• Two (2) plus years of experience in a manufacturing or Department of Defense (DOD) industry preferred

• Deltek Costpoint experience preferred, or experience having worked with other ERP systems

• Advanced working knowledge of the FAR, DFAR, ITAR, UCC and INCO terms with a broad familiarity with Government contracting principles and other Government regulations
